I am a Florida Licensed Psychologist with more than 17 years experience in the mental health field. My practice is focused primarily on forensic psychological assessment within the criminal arena. I regularly complete evaluations of competency to proceed, mental state at the time of the offense (insanity defense), mitigating factors, and risk (sexual re-offense and violence). My background in neuropsychology has contributed to my understanding of the cognitive, mood, and behavioral aspects of various neurodevelopmental and neurological conditions that may also be important to consider in forensic psychological evaluations. I have been affirmed as an expert witness in the First Judicial Circuit and am approved as a Forensic Evaluator by the Florida Department of Children with the ability to assess both juveniles and adults. I have recently begun assisting in family law/dependency matters, completing assessments of parenting capacity. Within the civil arena, I provide evaluation of testamentary capacity and undue influence. Therapeutic services are offered on a case-by-case basis.
